Leaving A Legacy In St. Louis
Powerplay was founded in 1994 by former St. Louis Blues defensemen, Rik Wilson. After his retirement from the NHL, Rik chose to focus his life towards helping individuals better themselves through strength training and nutrition, the key aspects that helped him achieve his life long goal of playing in the NHL, which played such a large part of his success on the ice.
Rik focused his work on making training very personal and tailored every workout to each individual client specifically showing how much he truly cared about them and their livelihood creating a family of people from all walks of life.
On January 22, 2016 Rik Wilson, our PowerPlay ForeFather, unexpectedly passed away. Upon his passing, Marc Godeker and Jacob Greminger quickly laced up their skates to do everything in their power to make sure the legacy would live on.
Marc and Jake took off right where Rik had left off and have devoted themselves to making PowerPlay everything it has been since day one as well as bringing PowerPlay into the new generation of health and fitness.
